What are some of the alternatives to watching the Super Bowl? I really don't think I can watch the game this year. I hate the giants and patriots almost equally. Does anyone know if the theater runs movies on super bowl Sunday? Is the bowling alley even open? I have never been in this situation before.

Wow! Is it really that Bad? Yes, both the theaters and the bowling alleys are open on Super Bowl Sunday; however, you could try doing what a good portion of the non-adoring sports fans do and watch for the commercials.
Good Grief Phil. Some things are not meant to be reposted. Although I do agree I'll only be watching for the commercials. I can't stand the Manning family or Bill "the cheater" Belichick. Like the country needs another Boston-New York playoff game. I didn't mind the Pats until the cheating thing especially when there was no reason for it especially against the Jets of all teams. His arrogance is tiring and his interaction with media frustrating. Although to give him his props he can back up his arrogance and his dealing with the media lets him handle the press on his terms as the media can get out of hand when covering sporting events. Also I have never liked ELI using his father to get him to New York. No one else (with the exception of Elway in the 80s)has the power to overthrow the system of getting drafted in the order that it comes. He thinks hes above the system and that always bothers me. So if I have to root for a team it will be the Patriots and hoping they throw all kind of egg all over the face of football's royal (and annoying) family the Mannings.
Is this even going to be a good game? It might be at least a little interesting if it is a close game. The commercials (at least some) provide some entertainment and maybe just for those few minutes of the game, it might be worth watching.
